(97) The reverse of America’s Great Seal is made of two elements: the eye in the triangle is one, and the unfinished pyramid is the other. Together they tell a story about both our nation and the individual citizens. The eye in the triangle stands for the spiritual dimension. It floats above and completes the unfinished pyramid-temple below. Archetypally it is the sun over the mountain. This symbol tells us that both the spiritual and physical dimensions need to be balanced in order to achieve wholeness or to enter the immortal dimensions.
